This was a wonderful commission to do. I would do a 10 minute drive to their beautiful waterfront home, Barbara would have freshly baked muffins waiting and I would sit and paint. The friendship, though we are no longer a short distance away, continues and brings us close companionships so many years later. It had begun when they came to our gallery for Eric's framing, led to many dinners and is still a wonderful friendship.
